The Story So Far...
The story of how Young Life International began in Hoddesdon is a long and interesting one, but in the interested of time and space, here is the brief version.
Young Life International started in Hertford in October of 2000. In 2005, a group of parents approached the Area Director in Hertford about starting YLI in Hoddesdon. One of the volunteer leaders from Hertford was then hired as the first staff in Hoddesdon.
In 2007, Young Life International was given a building, the Mannamead Centre, which we have operated out of ever since. We run a weekly club for our 14-18 year olds along with Young Life International Hertford. We do regular schools work as well as run weekly Bible studies.
